Chamber Crusader Beta: The Blood Zone


Good morning/evening/afternoon etc. again!

I've been working hard on this new update and I planned so much that I wasn't able to include everything I originally planned as I had to go back to school, but don't worry, because this update still has many changes such as:

New Features:

  • A new song for the blood zone!
  • Torches! 
  • Character selection screen
  • A new, playable, unlockable character
  • A new pair of weapons which come with the new character
    • Shotgun
    • katana
  • New enemy sprites for the blood zone
  • The blood zone (rooms 11-20)
  • Less annoying enemies (speed of enemies caps at a certain rate below the player's speed)
  • However, enemies' max health now increases the further the player progresses
  • Decreased ammo drop rate from ammo sludges due to an overabundance of ammo.
  • Decreased the length of the zones (first zone was 25 rooms, then the theme colour changed every 10 rooms, now every zone is 10 rooms in length except the final, infinite zone, the zone after room 69 (nice), which I don't even know if it's possible to reach to be honest because the game becomes progressively difficult)



    Features To Come:

    • New wall types for more variety such as a wall with a hole in it
    • Bigger rooms
    • Boss at room 20
    • New enemy type: the sentry
    • Enemies will drop healing potions
    • Finally fixing the bug of the player being able to hit enemies through walls
    • A checkpoint mode for those who are sick of losing all their progress
    • Easter eggs...
