Chamber Crusader Beta: New walls, new brawls


Welcome back to this exciting devlog series!

For today, there is not as much content because I got caught up in some personal stuff and am working on a big new algorithm to improve the gaming experience. But anyway, let's get to the features of this new update:

New Features

  • New wall configurations! (hopefully enemies won't get stuck behind walls anymore because that was honestly annoying)
  • TWO new enemy types 
    • Ghost dragon (it can go through walls!, it is also invulnerable and does a ton of damage so watch out for the yellow warning symbols!)
    • Spider sentry (shoots in eight directions, quite fitting since it has eight legs haha)


Features To Come

  • A pathfinding algorithm for enemies (hopefully)
  • A checkpoint mode (where you don't get points and new characters don't get unlocked)
  • Ability to skip rooms (for example, if you've already passed room 10, you will be able to skip it in future runs)
  • A new song and area with different skins?
  • A boss fight??
